Data Sources
Curvita can gather information from a variety of sources, both internal to your campus and from external repositories. These integrations can work in both directions: changes made in a data source are automatically imported into Curvita, and changes made in Curvita are automatically exported to the data source.
-
Curvita can integrate with nearly any system that you may have in place, such as:
Single Sign-On (Shibboleth, LDAP)
Human Resources and Payroll (PeopleSoft, SAP)
Identity Management (Active Directory, VIVO)
Course Management (Custom Registrar Systems)
Research/Grant Management (Coeus, RAMSeS)
-
During installation and on a regular basis, Curvita can bring in profile data from Microsoft Excel workbooks and can import information like publications from applications such as EndNote.
-
Curvita draws data into your database from major publication repositories such as PubMed and ORCID. This ensures that your faculty's publication listings are always accurate and up-to-date, with error-free citations. Grant information is available from NIH RePORTER.
-
Curvita's web interface lets you easily input and update all grant application information in one centralized location, whenever you need.
-
Curvita allows administrators to assign grant editing privileges to other users. Additionally, users can send email requests to non-users, prompting them to review and update their profile information.
